I love Carey's dad. Seriously, his dad rocks!!! He's only in a few scenes, but he steals the story. I like Carey, too, it's just his dad is the bomb! I know, too many exclamation points, but I don't know how else to emphasize my point. I've not read a book where an adult not in the "couple" steals the story right out from under the main characters. Don't get me wrong, the whole book is excellent. I really love all the characters introduced in this first book of the series. I'm ready for the next one....
