It's a good thing I bought both this book and [b:Afflicted II|16148381|Afflicted II (Afflicted, #2)|Brandon Shire|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1352841828s/16148381.jpg|21982945] at the same time. This one ends with a bit of a cliff to hang over. I've already started the second book. I had to. It's funny, because as I was reading I kept thinking "there's a second book. This one must get past the sex buddy stage." Yeah, it does.
The book blurb is very accurate. This is a romance between a very able blind guy and a not so self assured high end/well to do male prostitute.
I really like this story. I love Dillon and Hunter as individuals and as a couple they are remarkable. They both have insecurities and strengths. I got completely lost in their story. Sadly, I didn't have the option to just read until I finished. It's okay, though, because I appreciated this book so much more as I got to spend time with Hunter and Dillon. The romance moves along at a good pace, neither too fast nor too slow. While the guys have used the L word in their heads, they still haven't said it when the book ends. I'm not sure if this is insta-love or not. It doesn't feel like it.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to read a real romance with real men.
I don't know how else to describe it.
